Strategically located in the heart of the mediterranean White Coast, the Nautical Club Moraira, founded in 1976, is an association without profit spirit whose aim is the promotion and the practice of the nautical sporting-activities.

In 1980, the Nautical Club Moraira obtained concession of the Public Works Ministry for the construction and exploitation of a Sports Port. This concession was granted for an initial period of 30 years, and later on, in 1987 was extended 20 year, with which the effective concessional period extends to year 2030.

The Nautical Club Moraira counts at the present time with an approximated number of 700 Partners. In agreement with their Statutes, the Partners democratically choose the President, representative maximum of the Club, and the Board of Management, being this one the control system that, in agreement with the social motivations, set the standard to be followed by the own Club, in its activities and services as well as in its investments.

From 1985, year in which the works of the Sports Port finalized, the Nautical Club Moraira has been locating itself within the nautical-touristic sector of the Valencian Community as one of the offers of better quality-price balance.

The objective that dominates the performance of the Nautical Club Moraira is the one to daily give to all the users of the port the greatest comfort in their stay and the best services for their boats.

For it the port counts with a crew of 25 employees, true experts in harbor management and nautical services, that are to their whole disposition in the different dependencies of the Club (Administration, Reception and Dock- Buoyancy).

In Spain, the Nautical Club Moraira was a pioneer organization in the obtaining of the pavilion Blue Flag of the Clean Seas of Europe, symbol that grants the European Foundation of Environmental Education to those Sports Ports highlighted by their respect to the environment surrounding them and fulfill the highest quality standards in their harbor services.
